Retirement filled with important mahi for busy Rose
Many people think about giving back to their community, but at age 80, Rose has made it her life’s mission to help those in need. Even in retirement, Rose volunteers almost every day of the week at charities across Auckland. H.O.P.E. One of the other organisations she volunteers at also awarded Rose a Letter of Appreciation for her volunteer efforts. “To receive this sort of recognition at my age for the work I am doing, makes me immensely happy,” says Rose.
