Suspension of building

As part of our response to the Government’s announcement of a national lockdown, Kāinga Ora has instructed its state home build partners to secure the building sites they are working on today and suspend work on all Kāinga Ora projects effective midnight Wednesday 25 March.

Our build partners will ensure the sites are safe and weather proofed and will tidy away any materials or tools that are on site.

We will continue to work with our valued state home build partners in this challenging time and we’ll be preparing to continue supplying homes for those in need in the coming weeks.
