Tracey, Advisor Graduate Programme, says “We’re looking for candidates who are motivated to kick-start their career, and have the drive to keep growing and developing,”.

“We also want to see their passion for creating homes and communities that transform New Zealanders lives for the better. If you know of anyone who fits this description, please share this opportunity with them.”

The 18-month programme is designed for graduates to develop their capability in either Construction and Innovation (C&I) or Consentium Building Consent Authority.

The learning model allows graduates to complete three six-month rotations across their stream to develop their technical skills and build their networks and understanding.

“Each rotation is underpinned by a development plan, designed for personal and professional growth, and on successful completion of the programme, graduates will move into a permanent role relevant to the teams they have worked in,” Tracey says.

Graduates will get exposure to emerging technology and systems, and the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders on major projects, described by some managers as career-defining and a once in a lifetime opportunity due to their scale, she says.

Next year’s intake will start on 13 February 2023. The programme will provide graduates with the development and support they need to set themselves up for a successful career at Kāinga Ora and beyond.

Jenny, Advisor Graduate Programme, says “we’ve had a range of top-quality graduates join us since the programme started. I’m so proud of our grads and what they’ve been able to overcome and achieve to be here and contribute their knowledge and skills across the business,”.
