National Engagement and Partnerships
It is important for us to engage with the community, with iwi, hapū and rōpū Māori so we can produce plans that will guide us to achieve shared outcomes. The National Engagement and Partnerships team lead this mahi.
Kāinga Ora was established as an organisation in 2019 and since then, has been developing a number of strategies and plans to set its direction. In 2022 we embarked on a series of engagements to get input from people, groups and communities who will be affected by our decisions and will work alongside us to deliver the outcomes identified. It was especially important for us to engage with iwi, hapū and rōpū Māori. We hope this input will ensure more collaborative working and greater achievement of shared outcomes.
