Our organisation
Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is the largest residential property owner in the country and has two key roles:
- being a world-class public housing landlord, and
- partnering with the development community, Māori, local and central government, and others on urban development projects of all sizes.

Financing
Financing for our build programme and renewal of older public homes will be met by borrowing through New Zealand Debt Management (NZDM). Kāinga Ora financing for this work up until 11 November 2022 has previously been met through private market financing.
Kāinga Ora is no longer offering bonds and bills, documents and other information on our website are historical and for existing bond holders.
