Kāinga Ora re-affirms its support for the east

Winners are grinners … Kāinga Ora Area Manager Tim presents Cairo with a Christmas cake after she correctly guessed the number of cotton buds in a jar during the Affirm event.

The gathering at Wainoni Park showcased local talent, had great food, free rides and activities for the whole family.

Led by the Aranui Community Trust, the festival is a fun-filled day for the whole community. The day-long event celebrates and showcases the people of Aranui.

The event is in its 18^th year and Kāinga Ora was proud to be part of this year’s event. Before this year, Housing New Zealand was a key participant too. Our team at Kāinga Ora is looking forward to the 2020 event next December.
