Kāinga Ora has recently purchased land at 28 Adelaide Road through the Kāinga Ora land programme. We are in the early stages of exploring how this site could be developed.

We are planning to replace 29 Kāinga Ora homes at Victory Flats, Cowan Place and Luxford St with 50 new warm, safe, dry and healthy homes. These homes will be made up of:
- 22 one-bedroom,
- 12 two-bedroom and
- 16 three-bedroom apartments.

To help meet the need for housing for people in Lower Hutt, we’re building 162 homes across our Epuni Precinct.
We’re building homes which will be:
