The Government has confirmed the KiwiBuild programme is winding down. This is to align with the introduction of a new underwrite scheme for the construction sector. You can read the Government’s announcement on beehive.govt.nz.

Kāinga Ora will be communicating with developers, buyers and applicants directly.

The programme is now closed to new eligibility applications or developer proposals.

Developers are encouraged to visit the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development website for further information on the new underwrite programme.
