We are replacing 8 older state homes on large sections with 40 new modern, warm and healthy homes. It will be completed in two stages, stage one will be the three-bedroom apartments, with stage 2 being the walk-ups and stand-alone homes.

Ngā Kāinga Anamata
This development is part of Ngā Kāinga Anamata, a sustainability-innovation pilot led by Kāinga Ora. The research and development project aims to mitigate climate change and drive carbon emission reduction in New Zealand’s construction industry.
Ngā Kāinga Anamata is one of 17 innovations from around the world selected to feature at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) ‘Build Better Now’ Virtual Pavilion.
