Meet Emily - 101 and still counting

Recently, Ellerslie Manager Housing Support Irene and Senior Housing Support Cherie celebrated a significant milestone with Emily, a long term customer who lives in Auckland.  

“Emily turned 100 in 2020 and then celebrated 101 in 2021 and will be 102 soon. As Emily’s last two birthdays were during the Auckland lockdowns it was incredible to be able to finally visit Emily to congratulate her in person and celebrate her significant milestone”, Irene says.  

Of course, we asked Emily what her secret was and with a beaming smile Emily said "to be happy".
